The Issues

Brian's Top Priorities

All Gwinnett County residents can agree that crime is a growing problem. As your next Sheriff, I will work directly with all the Police Departments inside Gwinnett County and the District Attorney's Office to ensure the safety of our community.

Repeat offenders are committing a significant amount of crime. I will create a plan of action with our local Police Departments and District Attorney's Office to stop repeat offenders from continuing to criminalize our neighborhoods.

Gangs have infiltrated Gwinnett County and are committing acts of violence against citizens like you. In addition, they are also responsible for other crimes such as sex trafficking, drugs, and shootings that have jeopardized our safety. As your next Sheriff, a Gang Task Force will be formed to combat gangs head-on.

The Gwinnett County Jail can house up to 2,700 inmates at any time. Since 2021, when the new administration took over, there have been over ten inmate deaths and countless other safety issues. I will redo the medical facilities to ensure all inmates' health and provide a mental health team to ensure on-site mental health.

On-site mental health treatment is paramount. Once an inmate is released from our custody, it is imperative that they have mental health follow-ups. We will work with our mental health professionals to create a continuous mental health care system.
